Objection Against Traffic Violation in Saudi Arabia

Traffic violations play a crucial role in upholding road safety and regulating traffic in Saudi Arabia. However, there are situations where citizens and residents might feel the need to dispute a recorded violation on their records. Fortunately, the process has become much simpler now, as objections can easily be submitted online through “Absher” platform.

Steps for Objecting to Traffic Violations

To object to a traffic violation in Saudi Arabia, follow these simple steps using “Absher” :

  1. Log into Absher: Start by visiting Absher website and logging into your personal account using your credentials.
  2. Go to “My Services”: Once logged in, go to the list of available services and select “My Services” to access the options linked to your account.
  3. Select “Traffic Services”: On the “My Services” page, locate and choose the “Traffic Services” section to proceed.
  4. Choose “Objection to Traffic Violations”: You will see a list of traffic-related services. Click on “Objection to Traffic Violations” to initiate the process.
  5. Select the Violation to Object: A list of recorded traffic violations associated with your account will appear. Choose the specific violation you wish to object.
  6. State Your Reason and Submit: After selecting the violation, you’ll be prompted to specify the reason for your objection. Select the most appropriate reason and then click “Submit Objection.”
  7. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number. Enter the verification code provided to confirm your objection request.

By following these straightforward steps, you can easily and quickly submit your objection to traffic violations. This process allows you to communicate directly with the relevant authorities, providing your reasons and justifications transparently.

Conditions for the Approval of Traffic Violation Objections

To file an objection against traffic violations through “Absher” platform, several conditions must be met to ensure a successful submission:

  1. Having an Absher Account: The applicant must have a registered personal account on the “Absher” platform provided by the Ministry of Interior.
  2. Respecting the Time Limit: The objection must be filed within 30 days from the date the traffic violation was recorded. Any objections submitted after this period will not be considered.
  3. No Duplicate Objections: If an objection has already been submitted and a decision has been made by the concerned committee, it is not possible to object again to the same violation.
  4. One Objection at a Time: If there is an ongoing automated objection being processed, no new objections can be submitted simultaneously by the same individual.
  5. Objection Limit: There is no cap on the number of objections that can be submitted automatically. However, if an individual reaches five rejected objections within the same Hijri year, further submissions may be restricted.

By meeting these conditions, users can easily submit their objections according to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Interior. These requirements are in place to ensure a structured and efficient process, providing an organized and fair opportunity for individuals to express their objections.
